For those who prefer to manage their own sales, the self-service option gives you full control over pricing and rack organisation. Prefer to leave the details to us? With the all-inclusive option, our team handles everything—from pricing guidance to styling your rack for maximum appeal—so you can enjoy a truly hands-free selling experience.

Self-Service

Rack Rental + 25-30% commission on sold items

Up to 40 garments and 5 accessories (max 3 pairs of shoes)
You list and price your items on the VENLA online platform
We print price tags with bar codes for your items and have a rack ready for you
You bring your items to the store and set up your rack on the day your booking starts. We provide steamer and hangers
VENLA staff maintain your rack during the fortnight, but we encourage you to regularly visit and merchandise your rack a well
You can follow the sales in real-time in our app and top up your rack any time

How to sell quality fashion with VENLA

Our stores are located in high-traffic retail precincts in some of Sydney’s most desirable neighbourhoods, so selling Australian designer labels such as Camilla and Marc, Bianca Spender, Zimmerman, Oroton, Dion Lee or Aje will always be easy. But of course international brands like Chanel, Gucci, Versace, Armani, Burberry, Yves Saint Laurent, Dior and Louis Vuitton are also in high demand. But you can also sell labels like Zara, H&M, Witchery etc with us.

Regardless of what fashion you are selling, you are likely to find a buyer at VENLA. All you have to do is rent a rack, pick what you want to sell and get started.

‍VENLA self-service

Self-service is our most popular and economical way to sell.

Register your details on the VENLA platform and book your rack for the dates that suit you. After your online rental payment, your rack rental is confirmed and you will receive an email with detailed instructions on how to list and price your items on our platform. Choose garments to sell that are season-appropriate. What sells well is contemporary fashion, the brands and quality you already love and wear. Also anything little unusual, well-made basic and a bit vintage.

With VENLA self-service you list and price your items on the VENLA platform and bring your items to the VENLA store the morning your rental starts. We provide price tags, hangers and steamer, you provide the clothes and set up your rack. In addition to the rack rental, we charge a 25-30% commission on sold items.

Whilst we don't require the items to be of specific brands or vintage, we do require that all items are CLEAN and in good condition. Read more about the quality requirements in our Terms & Conditions.

WANT MORE?

‍VENLA all-inclusive service

If you don't have time for VENLA self-service then our all-inclusive service is the option for you to clear your wardrobe!

1. Choose the garments (max 60 garments and 10 accessories) for sales that are season-appropriate.

2. Book your rack on our platform and choose all-inclusive.

3. Bring the items to the VENLA store 1-2 days before your rental starts. We will list and price your items.

4. We will send the price list for your approval before setting up the rack for you.

5. In addition to the rack rental, we charge a 50% commission on sold items.

If you have high-end brands (handbags, shoes) including original receipts and/or authentication will provide buyers peace of mind and a better price for you.

Tips for sellers

Price your products realistically. We recommend taking 50-70% off original retail price if the item is unworn and with original tags still on. Consider what would you pay for the item today in a secondhand store.
Only sell items you would love to buy yourself
Make sure all product are clean and in great condition.
Do not overfill the sales rack (max 40 garments), but replenish the products regularly over the sales period
Promote your rack on social media, showcasing the best items (make sure to tag @venla.resell.relove)
